The Seelos Institute at Donnelly College and Office of Catholic Schools is hosting a parent information event on Wednesday, January 29th, from 7 to 8:30 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (Overland Park, KS). This event is for parents with or without children currently enrolled in Catholic school. The evening will begin with prayer, followed by a presentation on What is Catholic education? and a panel discussion with Catholic school leaders and parents. During this 1-hour webinar, we will dive into effective strategies for managing financial resources and making critical budgetary choices. Learn how to prioritize spending, cut costs without sacrificing quality, and navigate financial constraints with confidence.
Session 1 (in-person): Define differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), outline their key differences, and apply UDL guidelines to lesson planning through the lens of our Catholic faith.
Session 2 (virtual): Analyze and refine UDL and differentiated instruction lessons through feedback, while exploring their alignment with MTSS and the Archdiocesan SIT program.
