Special Education Committee
In 1999 a Special Education Committee was established by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas Office of Catholic Schools. The purpose of the committee is to bring issues and challenges related to serving children with special needs in Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas to the attention of the Office of Catholic Schools, identify current topics for the Teaching All God's Children newsletter and for in-service training for teachers, to assist in periodic updates of data related to children with special needs enrolled in Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese, and to help coordinate the annual Mass for children with special needs and their families.
