The education of children with special needs in
Catholic schools requires acceptance, belonging, and community with open
hearts and open minds.
At baptism, we are welcomed into our parish family. Parish members with
disabilities and their families should be welcomed as they seek the benefits of
a Catholic education. Our schools continue to strive to meet spiritual, educational,
social, physical, and emotional needs of students so that they may
develop to the best of their abilities.
Students and teachers alike are living
examples of acceptance of people's differences. All students, with and
without disabilities, learn that as a community, we value all God's
people.
